Here is the grid after basics.
I'll mark Peter's cells. His W-Wing is based on r2c6=17, r9c7=17, and a strong inference on <7> in [c8]. The transport is based on a strong inference on <1> in [c9].
Code: | w-wing(17) pincer transport
(1=7)r2c6 - r2c8 = r7c8 - (7=1)r9c7 - r9c9 = r1c9; r1c6<>1, r2c8<>1
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
| 2 6 17 | 45 45 1789 | 1789 3 f19 |
| 8 9 4 | 6 3 a17 | 2 b17 5 |
| 3 17 5 | 2 79 1789 | 1789 6 4 |
|--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
| 4 127 1379 | 179 679 5 | 139 8 26 |
| 56 127 1379 | 179 8 4 | 1359 159 26 |
| 56 8 19 | 3 2 69 | 4 159 7 |
|--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
| 1 4 2 | 8 579 379 | 6 c579 39 |
| 7 3 6 | 59 1 2 | 59 4 8 |
| 9 5 8 | 47 467 367 | d17 2 e13 |
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
# 67 eliminations remain

Now, I'll mark my cells. The W-Wing is based on r2c8=17, r9c7=17, and a strong inference on <1> in [c9].
Code: | W-Wing (7=1)r2c8 - r1c9 = r9c9 - (1=7)r9c7 => r13c7,r7c8<>7
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
| 2 6 17 | 45 45 1789 | 1789 3 b19 |
| 8 9 4 | 6 3 17 | 2 a17 5 |
| 3 17 5 | 2 79 1789 | 1789 6 4 |
|--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
| 4 127 1379 | 179 679 5 | 139 8 26 |
| 56 127 1379 | 179 8 4 | 1359 159 26 |
| 56 8 19 | 3 2 69 | 4 159 7 |
|--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
| 1 4 2 | 8 579 379 | 6 579 39 |
| 7 3 6 | 59 1 2 | 59 4 8 |
| 9 5 8 | 47 467 367 | d17 2 c13 |
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
# 67 eliminations remain

I'm fairly sure Earl meant my W-Wing since he didn't mention a transport. |

I think you misunderstand me Danny - what I was referring to was the fact that Earl said W Wing (17) and that's exactly what peter says in the very first post of this thread. Presumably Earl could have gone either way ?

One possible solution
w-wing(17) pincer transport
(1=7)r2c6-r2c8=r7c8-(7=1)r9c7 -r9c9=r1c9; r1c6<>1, r2c8<>1 |

[same structure but different ways out depending on (1=7) or (7=1) !] |
