I may have messed up on basics but a colouring on 9s puts two of the same colour in col 9 r2c9 and r9c9 so both must be false leading to four eliminations and a solved puzzle. Hmm..probably an error on my part.

I just checked and discovered that my last step circumvents the three earlier steps. |

Mogulmeister, I think you may have been correct since I followed a similar bath for my second step to complete the puzzle.
Type 1 UR89 r78c34; r8c4=1
6-cell DP 89 in r378c346: r3c4=2 or r3c6=1 to prevent the deadly pattern.
(2)r3c4 = (1)r3c6 - r1c6 = r1c9 - (1=9)r2c9 - (9=2)r9c9 -r9c7 = r5c7 - r5c4 = (2)r4c5; r2c5<>2
