| . 1 5 | . 4 7 | 9 . . |
| . . 9 | . 3 1 | . . . |
|-------+-------+-------|
| . . 6 | 2 9 . | . . . |
| . . . | . . . | . 6 3 |
| . 3 1 | 4 . . | . 9 8 |

Me too - a lot of VH steps - I must have missed the VH+ one. Starting with a veritable metropolis!
Quote: | skyscraper(4); r12c7<>4, r7c8<>4
skyscraper(5); r2c1<>5, r8c2<>5
xy-wing(457); r1c9<>4
x-wing(5); r2c7<>5, r9c57<>5
xy-wing(678); r1c7<>8 |
Marty, looks like we are almost doing different puzzles - didn't see your steps at all!! |

Three steps .............
Quote: | skyscraper 4 r38c2; r12c7, r7c8<>4,
xy-wing -457 with vertex 57 in r7c8; r1c9<>4 plus transport: (4)r7c9 - r7c1 = (4)r8c2; r3c2<>4,
xy-wing 5-67 with vertex 57 in r2c8; r1c5, r2c7<>6 |

You're right Peter, my post was based on a different puzzle.
For this one I used:
M-Wing (45)
Coloring (5)
Kite (5)
XYZ-Wing (568) |
