I couldn't avoid the single digit move on 5...

Then a ... what's in a name, a rose by any other name etc. .. ANP or ALS or Almost XY or..

Quote:
skyscraper(5); r2c8<>5, r5c9<>5
xy-chain/ANP: (1=45)r12c2-(5=9)r5c2-(9=6)r5c4-(6=1)r3c4; r3c13<>1

I finally found some time to work on a puzzle; way to many distractions.....

I also started with the move on (5). Then I found two "Almost" xyz-wings but then realized they were not need if I used a conflicting chain which I found exploring an ANP(16=4)r13c4.

Quote:
(4-1)r1c4 = r1c2 - (1=9)r9c2 - r5c2 = r5c4 - (9=4)r8c4 - (4)r1c4; r1c4<>4

I played the Type 1 UR on 19, then ERs on 9 & 5. Next was the 45 UR. I don't know what it's called, but the DP killers were a 1 or 6 and they created a pincer situation.
