The May 22 DB starts off a bit challenging, but then only one "big" step after basics.
A solution: skyscraper 4

I don't think I've ever seen meaner basics. Was that a "quintuplet" in C7, I saw? I ended up trying colouring on <4> and found an impossible situation with two of the same colours in C5 - so I assumed these were wrong and chose the other colour. Is there a name for that? Anyway it worked.
Definitely one of the best.

Yes indeed, but the cognoscenti refers to them as "quints." |

I thought Quint was that boat pilot in Jaws. |

Marty you are clearly not a good Italian Boy!
Cognoscente "refers"
Cognoscenti "refer" because the cognoscenti are plural.

Hi Craig,
Your technique found a truth contradiction:In colouring if two of the same colour end up in the same stack/band/house they must be false. |

I've since seen it referred to as a Color Wrap (or Colour Wrap if you're bilingual). |

God bless the Canadians for being able to spell!
Ronk was speculating on similar colouring related terminology - I've been out of the swing of all that nomenclature stuff for the last couple of years so I haven't sorted out my "wraps" and "traps" yet - but to be honest I see them all as colouring. |
