This has been left alone for a bit so I'll get in with a 3 step:

Quote:
1. Skyscraper on 5s removes 5 at r6c4
2. XY Chain removing 4 at r5c6 pincers at r6c4 and r9c6
3 Big Baphomet showing contradiction on 4s:

(4)r6c9=r4c9-r4c1=r5c2-r8c2=r8c5-r9c6=r5c6-r6c4=(4)r6c9 so r6c9 = 4

Maybe I screwed up, but there was a DP 24-27-47 which could only be killed with r4c2=5 and that's all I needed.

Someone will tell me if I need to do it again.

Just playing around to avoid the xyz-wing.

ANP(24=5)r15c5 - r9c5 = (5-2)r9c8 = (2)r8c9; r8c5<>2
kite 5 with hinge in box9; r6c4<>5
ADP34 in r789c257: (7)r7c2 = (25)r89c5 to prevent deadly pattern
(7)r7c2 - (7=4)r7c1 - r4c1 = (4)r5c2
||
SS(25)r9c58 - (2=4)r9c6
Thus, these two pincers on (4) gives r5c6<>4

Marty, I played around that ADP, but was unable to find a solution. I would be very interested in your technique. To prevent the DP, I had the constraints: r4c2=5 or r7c2=3.

I had that DP on my first go-round and it created a pincer situation (the 3 proved a 5 somewhere) which eliminated enough to finish with a 2nd DP, which might've been 35-36-56. Alas, I ended up with an invalidity and did it again, with the solution posted above. Looks like I messed up twice.

Marty - you've reminded me that I really need to go away and study 3-way DPs - I just generally don't tend to look for them.
