Actually, not really. For the Thursday puzzle, this was harder than usual. The Thursdays require an advanced move only every 10 weeks or so.
The Friday puzzles always require advanced moves. They now often stray into the "why be bothered" group.

I used a Type 1 UR for 37 and a Type 6 for 24. Then an extended xy wing for 279 to remove 2 in R6C9. That was a great achievement for me because I find unextended wings hard enough to locate! |
