I had a rough time with this one. XY-Chain, W-Wing (13), ERs (1,1) and two X-Wings (3,1). Then an attempted XY-Chain produced a contradiction and eliminating the offending candidate finished it off.

I imagine this should have been a one- or two-stepper.

I did two VH steps, x-wing(1) and an xy-wing(12-6).
There were a lot of basics - which to be honest I stepped through.

Peter, I'm sorry, but I don't quite understand this sentence. Embarassed Question

Marty, I meant I "cheated" Exclamation and used SimpleSudoku to just get to the first non-basic move... sometime I do them and sometime I don't depending on mood and time I have.

I just noticed there was quite a lot of non-singles plays. I know you play paper/pencil so work through them all the time.
