Is this valid logic??
An xyz-wing(79-5) using a sort of pseudocell (57)
Code: | *--------------------------------------------------------------------*
| 8 579a 6 | 57 3 49 | 457 1 2 |
| 29 1 457c | 29 6 8 | 457 45 3 |
| 3 27-5 457c | 1 57 24 | 9 8 6 |
|----------------------+----------------------+----------------------|
| 49 59b 2 | 8 45 3 | 1 6 7 |
| 6 3 57 | 24579 24579 1 | 245 45 8 |
| 47 8 1 | 2457 2457 6 | 245 3 9 |
|----------------------+----------------------+----------------------|
| 5 6 3 | 249 249 29 | 8 7 1 |
| 1 4 9 | 6 8 7 | 3 2 5 |
| 27 27 8 | 3 1 5 | 6 9 4 |
*--------------------------------------------------------------------*
(4) has to occur in one of r23c3. In either case a (57) is made in b1 making the xyz-wing pivot on r1c2 => r3c2<>5
ER(5) ; r1c2<>5 then to finish... |

I consider an XYZ-Wing to be a constrained form of Kraken Cell logic:
Code: | (5)r1c2 - (5)r3c2
(9)r1c2 - (9= 5)r4c2 - (5)r3c2
(7)r1c2 - (7=45)r23c3 - (5)r3c2
|
Cell r4c2 is in a "line" with r1c2, and cells r23c3 are in the same box with r1c2. It looks like an XYZ-Wing to me! |

Four candidate values in four cells makes it a wxyz-wing IMO. Furthermore, since no single cell contains all four candidate values ... it's a "generalized" wxyz-wing.
I recommend avoiding this naming issue by calling it an ALS-xz. |
