Rambling:
One useful technique that I failed to add to my solver is Remote Pair. I often encounter equivalent results through overlapping turbot patterns being listed for two values. I just have to manually catch it.
For this puzzle, my solver found 2x UR Type 1 prior to listing several identical turbot patterns for the Remote Pair elimination r1c8<>89. Had I used Colors and checked for Remote Pairs, I would have found several Remote Pair eliminations present.

Fortunately for me, the turbot eliminations for r1c8<>89 were sufficient after the URs. (Whew!)
