Found this quite tough - two steps...
Quote:
s-wing(34) extended ; (4)r3c3=r3c8 - (4=3)r1c8 - (3)r9c8=r8c79 - r8c3=r4c3 ; r4c3<>4
turbot/ER(5) ; r5c7<>5

JC's Kraken box scenario -- (34)R5C7 4B4 3C3 -- also translates into an M-Wing.

Code:
 c28\r59 finned  X-Wing                  <> 5    r5c7   -or-
   c2b9  turbot fish/ER                  <> 5    r5c7

 +--------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
 |  7       49      489     |  1235    1235    2358    |  6       34      234     |
 |  6       3       5       |  9       27      4       |  1       78      28      |
 |  2       1       48      |  37      6       378     |  9       347     5       |
 |--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------|
 |  1       8       349     |  2357    23579   23579   |  3457    23459   6       |
 |  3459    459     7       |  2358    2359    6       |  34      234589  1       |
 |  359     6       2       |  3578    4       1       |  357     3589    38      |
 |--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------|
 |  345     7       6       |  2345    235     235     |  8       1       9       |
 |  8       2       349     |  13457   13579   3579    |  345     6       34      |
 |  3459    459     1       |  6       8       359     |  2       345     7       |
 +--------------------------------------------------------------------------------+
 # 106 eliminations remain

 M-Wing 5A (3=4)r5c7 - r4c78 = (4-3)r4c3 = (3)r8c3  =>  r8c7<>3
 M-Wing 5B (3=4)r5c7 - r5c12 = (4-3)r4c3 = (3)r8c3  =>  r8c7<>3   JC's

There's also an internally extended W-Wing, but it doesn't advance the solution.

(3=4)r1c8 - r1c23 = r2c3 - r4c3 = r5c12 - (4=3)r1c7 => r456c8<>3

This puzzle had me going in circles! I found 8-10 steps all of which seemed useless until I found one that did some damage. Although the solution is only one known pattern and one ugly chain, I feel like it was a BBDB+.

Code:
Fin x-wing r59c28; r5c7<>5

Kraken cell (349)r8c3
(3)r8c3-r8c79=r9c8-r13c8=r1c9-(3=8)r6c9
||
(4)r8c3-(4=3)r8c9-(3=8)r6c9
||
(9)r8c3-(9)r9c12=(9-3)r9c6=(3)r9c18
                                  |
                                  |
                                  (3)r9c1-r56c1=(3-4)r4c3=r4c78-(4=3)r5c7-(3=8)r6c9
                                  |
                                  |
                                  (3)r9c8-r13c8=r1c9-(3=8)r6c9
