Dodging the natural path this little ANP cracks it...
Quote: | ANP(18) (18=3)r4c56 - (3=8)r7c6 - (8=1)r9c5 - (1=8)r4c5 ; r5c4<>8 |

Peter : Nice move ! Here is the "natural" path (for completeness ...) ... - - Quote: | X Wing (8)C57 : r49c689<>8
XY Wing (-138), pivot at r7c6 : r4c5,r89c6<>1 |

I nosed around and found several seemingly useless moves and then a "goodie".
Quote: | Kraken cell (138)r4c6; r5c4<>8
(1)r4c6-(1=8)r4c5
||
(3)r4c6-(3=8)r7c6-r3c6=(8)r3c4
||
(8)r4c6 |

Ted, I'm happy with Kraken cells but you could also label it a flightless xyz-wing(138) with (8)SL transport! |

Peter,
I agree. Multiple names is just another aspect of Sudoku that is sometimes confusing.

Basically same as JC except I used an ER on 8 to expose the XY-Wing on 381. |
