The UR Type 4 was in the old VH+ rating, and the X-Wing is in the VH rating.
I recently combined Basics and Basics+ into just a Basics rating. I also combined turbot, VH+, and Advanced into just an Advanced rating. Finally, I added Remote Pair to the VH rating and S-Wing plus L-Wing to the XY rating. Here's a copy of my current ratings and notes on the XY rated wings.

XYZ-Wing, UR Type 2/4
XY: M/W/S/L-Wing, XY-Chain, BUG+2, BUG+3, other URs
Extreme: Chain, Loop, SIN (Single Inference Network)
M-Wing: (A=B) - B = (B-A) = A
W-Wing: (A=B) - B = B - (B=A)
S-Wing: A = A - (A=B) - B = B {1st A and last B in the same house}
L-Wing: A = A - A = (A - B) = B {1st A and last B in the same house}
(reverse) B = (B - A) = A - A = A {1st B and last A in the same house}

Note the presence of "other URs" in the XY rating. I've actually posted puzzles that had this as the XY step ... and I plan to continue slipping them in periodically. |
