Initially I was just having fun with ADPs and found the following. Only the first portion of step two and the third step are needed to complete the puzzle.

BUG-Lite+3 (457)r358c12 External SIS: r1c3=5,r8c456=7; r8c12,r9c46<>7
(5)r1c3-(7)r1c3=r1c4-r2c5=(7)r8c5;

(7)r8c456;

AUR(78)r12c34
Mixed SIS: r1c3=5,r2c5=7; r1c3<>8
(5)r1c3;

(7)r2c5-(7=8)r2c3;
External SIS: r2c5=7,r6c3=8; r2c4<>7
(7)r2c5;

(8)r6c3-(8=7)r2c3;

AUR(15)r48c12 External SIS: r8c4=1,r6c3=5; r1c4, r2c3<>7
(1)r8c4-(4)r8c4=r8c5-(4=7)r2c5;

(5)r6c3-(5=7)r1c3;

Afterwords, I got just a bit more serious and found this one stepper.

Quote:
xy-wing 67-8 vertex (67)r6c3; r1c9<>8
plus transport: (8)r6c9-r6c3=r4c1-r3c1=r3c7; r1c7<>8

Ted, your external ADP moves are impressive! I suppose it's a bit like looking for Kraken cells/rows/blocks etc. except there are fewer starting points. I occasionally look for internal ones where there is an obvious strong link to use. But having persevered I am at least able to follow your logic..

FWIW I think the second step elimination on 8 is needed to open up the bivalue (57)r1c3 for your last move.

Peter, Thanks for your comments.

And yes, I messed up again in manipulating my post at the last minute by xx the positions of step one and two, but failed to correct the comment.........
