Peter,
Given the circumstances I elected to call those "things" hanging off the ADP SIS "Braids". I realize that this may be new terminology in the Sudoku world but it was a necessity to post my solution given the constraints presented by Danny. So really, any cheating is Danny's fault for imposing the conditions.
