I believe that a shorter sequence is available...........
Quote: | xy-wing 35-6 vertex r9c7; r7c1,r9c8<>6
xyz-wing (345)r1c3; r1c2<>5
x-wing 3
AUR(45)r13c38 external SIS r1c9=4,r9c3=4,r1c7=5; r1c3<>4
(4)r1c9;
||
(4)r9c3;
(5)r1c7-(5=3)r9c7-(3=4)r9c4;
BUG+1; r2c9=3 |

Three steps...
Quote: | x-wing(3)
xyz-wing(34-5) r1c3 ; r1c2<>5
xy-chain ; (6=3)r7c9 - (3=9)r5c9 - (9=2)r5c3 - (2=9)r8c3 - (9=6)r8c4 ; r7c4<>6 |

I played the XYZ-Wing (345), couple of ERs (3,3) and the X-Wing (3) and seemed to hit the brick wall. Then I found an XY-Chain, starting in r7c9 as did Peter's, and eliminated a couple of 6s. But I then needed to extend the chain to force r9c8<>6. |
