Tough basics.. a UR chain one-stepper..
Quote: | (8=9)r5c8 - (9=7)r9c8 - UR(19)r79c29[(7)r9c9=(4)r7c2] - (45=3)r16c2 - r1c5=r4c5 - (3=8)r6c4 ; r6c79<>8 |
[Edit] Suspect I have made this overly complicated again...

Nothing there that I could see after a couple of not-too-helpful moves, but it fell easily to a Medusa wrap. |

Advanced single-stepper options:
Code: | S-Wing (8)r5c8 = r8c8 - (8=2)r8c9 - r6c9 = (2)r6c7 => r6c7<>8
S-Wing (8)r3c7 = r3c9 - (8=2)r8c9 - r6c9 = (2)r6c7 => r6c7<>8
L-Wing (2)r6c7 = r6c9 - r8c9 = (2-8)r8c8 = (8)r5c8 => r6c7<>8
L-Wing (2)r6c7 = r12c7 - r1c8 = (2-8)r8c8 = (8)r5c8 => r6c7<>8
|
Multiple steps:
Code: | c25 X-Wing <> 3 r1c3479,r4c1
c35 X-Wing <> 8 r4c1,r7c4
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
| 6 345 145 | 247 35 8 | 129 279 2479 |
| 347 8 9 | 6 1 237 | 23 5 2347 |
| 3457 2 1345 | 347 9 357 | 138 6 3478 |
|--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
| 12 13 28 | 5 38 9 | 7 4 6 |
| 38 6 7 | 1 2 4 | 389 89 5 |
| 9 45 45 | 38 7 6 | 238 1 238 |
|--------------------+--------------------+--------------------|
| 14 149 28 | 27 58 257 | 6 3 19 |
| 35 7 35 | 9 6 1 | 4 28 28 |
| 28 19 6 | 238 4 23 | 5 79 179 |
+--------------------------------------------------------------+
# 73 eliminations remain
XY-Chain: (9=8)r5c8 - (8=3)r5c1 - (3=1)r4c2 - (1=9)r9c2 => r9c8<>9
r79c29 <19> UR Type 1.2223 <> 19 r7c2
|
I find it amazing how a simple S-Wing can be so difficult to detect. |
