Lots of colouring/turbot moves...
Quote:
kite(3) r6, c8 ; r9c3<>3
kite(3) r5, c7 transport c4 ; r3c2<>3
kite(9) r5, c7 transport r3 ; r1c56<>9

The last two kites can sort of be played together as a remotepair(39) via an als/pseudocell (3=8=9)r46c7 and using the transport of (3)r1c4=r3c4. Tenuous though!

Interesting puzzle. I found many moves but they did not result in any significant benefit; some advanced moves were available but they also seemed to be non-destructive. A BBDBer for me.

ANP(89=3)r3c26-r5c2=r5c8-r6c7=r1c7-r2c9=r2c23- conflict; r3c2<>3
ANP(39=8)b3q16-r2c2=r3c2-(8=9)r3c6-r7c6=r8c5-(9=3)r8c9; r13c9<>3
Coloring 3; r2c3, r8c1, r9c3<>3
x-wing (2)r37c14; r8c1<>2
coloring 9; r7c8<>9

Since I don't activate Colors and Multi-Colors techniques when preparing puzzles for this forum, I was unaware that they would crack this puzzle so easily. (Thanks Peter.) My solver's solution was a BBDB. However, with only three steps necessary, this then eliminated the BBDB classification.

Code:
   c35   X-Wing                          <> 2    r8c1   complementary and
 r37     X-Wing                          <> 2    r8c1   extraneous

 r6c8    2-String Kite                   <> 3    r9c3

 <79+8>  XYZ-Wing r1c5/r3c6+r5c5         <> 8    r2c5   extraneous
 <49+8>  XYZ-Wing r7c6/r7c8+r9c4         <> 8    r7c4   extraneous
 <38+9>  XYZ-Wing r8c1/r8c9+r9c3         <> 9    r8c3   extraneous

 +--------------------------------------------------------------+
