I found a short AIC looking for a xy-wing: (9=7)r7c2-r7c8=r3c8-r3c5=(7-9)r2c6=(9)r2c4; r7c4<>9
Code: | *--------------------------------------------------------------------*
| 7 1 3 | 4 d26 8 | 26 9 5 |
| 8 a26 5 | 9 1 -27 | 3 4 267 |
| 4 b26 9 | 3 c26=7 5 | 8 27 1 |
|----------------------+----------------------+----------------------|
| 9 4 1 | 8 3 6 | 27 5 27 |
| 6 3 7 | 2 5 1 | 9 8 4 |
| 2 5 8 | 7 9 4 | 1 6 3 |
|----------------------+----------------------+----------------------|
| 1 9 246 | 56 278 3 | 24567 27 2678 |
| 5 7 246 | 1 28 9 | 246 3 268 |
| 3 8 26 | 56 4 27 | 2567 1 9 |
*--------------------------------------------------------------------* |
This set up an "Almost Remote Pair: ARP(26) marked "abcd" with fin (7)r3c5; r2c6<>2
If fin is true: (7)r3c5-(7=2)r3c8-r1c7=r1c5-(2)r2c6

Ted, if you don't mind "endnode" overlap at r1c5, r2c2 & r3c2 aren't needed.
anp:[(26)r13c5 = (7)r3c5] - (7=2)r3c8 - (2=6)r1c7 - (6=2)r1c5 ==> r2c6,r78c5<>2 |

Ron,
I have no pride or guilt: I will use anything valid if it results in a deletion including "endnode overlap". I especially like the "almost" approach and use ANP() frequently. In another thread, I just posted an almost xyz-wing which makes two unusual moves today including the ARP().

Two wings hitting the same cell...
Code: | w-wing(26) ; (2=6)r2c2 - r3c2=r3c5 - (6=2) ; r2c6<>2
s-wing(79) with transport ; (9)r2c4=r7c4 - (9=7)r7c2 - (7)r7c8=r3c8 - r3c5=r2c6 ; r2c6<>9 |

I used my usual number of moves, including:
Multi-coloring
XY-Wing + transport
Coloring
DP implications
