I found a couple of fun and interesting AURs, but they resulted in a BBDBer so I resorted to simpler moves......
Quote: | xy-wing (26-3) with vertex (26)r1c7 and pseudocell (36)r8c73; r1c3<>3
Kite 6 with pivot b7; r2c8<>6
BUG+1 r1c8=6

I played basically the same as Ted, but went back to look for something more fun... and completely OTT!
Note these two almost-patterns...
Code: | *------------------------------------------------------------*
| 1 8 w349 |w69 5 7 | 26 3469 23 |
|#4679 s36 @3479 | 8 34 2 | 5 s3469 1 |
| 469 2 5 | 69 34 1 | 7 3469 8 |
|-------------------+-------------------+--------------------|
| 47 5 47 | 3 1 9 | 8 2 6 |
| 8 1 6 | 2 7 4 | 3 5 9 |
| 3 9 2 | 5 8 6 | 4 1 7 |
|-------------------+-------------------+--------------------|
| 26 4 8 | 7 9 5 | 1 36 23 |
| 5 s36 w39 | 1 2 8 |sw69 7 4 |
| 29 7 1 | 4 6 3 | 29 8 5 |
*------------------------------------------------------------*
skyscraper(6)[(6)r2c8=r2c2 - r8c2=r8c7] fin (6)r2c1 (marked "s" and "#")
w-wing(69)[(6=9)r1c4 - r1c3=r8c3 - (9=6)r8c7] fin (9)r2c3 (marked "w" and "@") |
The two "fins" sit on a strong link on 7 which forces one of the patterns to be true! (Since if one fin is true, it is not a 7 and so the other fin is a 7 and so is false making that pattern exist) Both patterns delete (6)r1c7 cracking the puzzle!
Code: | skyscraper(6)r2,r8=(6)r2c1 - (7)r2c1=r2c3 - (9)r2c3=w-wing(69)r1c4,r8c7 ; r1c7<>6 |
