Too embarrassing to get into details, but I needed nine moves to crack this one. I know it wasn't that hard, but I obviously missed something (or many things). |

w-wing(37) (3=7)r3c8 - r4c8=r4c1 - (7=3)r6c3 ; r6c8<>3

Marty,
My solver included 2x XYZ-Wing in its solution. Both of which seemed necessary for a smooth solution! If you missed them, and that would be easy, then it would make the puzzle considerably harder.
Regards, Danny
General Note: XYZ-Wings often appear to be extraneous because I notice response solutions to many puzzles where they're not used even though my solver did use them. |

I did go back and try it again and used four moves, but I don't know how to solve efficiently on the first try. The four moves were XYZ-Wing, Finned X-Wing, M-Wing and XY-Wing. |
