I sort of had the same. After basics: Code: | +-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 6 45 3 | 459 1 7 | 259 24 8 |
| 89 2 1 | 459 345 38 | 579 6 47 |
| 89 7 45 | 6 245 28 | 59 3 1 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 5 69 69 | 3 8 1 | 27 24 47 |
| 1 8 2 | 7 49 49 | 6 5 3 |
| 4 3 7 | 2 6 5 | 1 8 9 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 2 469 8 | 1 459 469 | 3 7 56 |
| 7 1 46 | 45 23 23 | 8 9 56 |
| 3 569 569 | 8 7 69 | 4 1 2 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| Then I noticed the skyscraper on 4 in R38 is a one-stepper.

I used the two hidden UR's 49 and 69 followed by W-wing 45 with SL 4 in row 8 setting r3c5<>5. After that, a Kite in 4 originating from BOX 1 setting r7c5<>4. |

Here is a three step solution; a heavy hammer and two easy nudges...........
Almost Sue de Coq b2 & r2
abcde=(34589)r2c456
ab=(89)r1c2
cd=(45)r3c5
e=(3)r2c56
fin (2)r3c5
SdC(34589)b2&r2=(2)r3c5-(2=8=9=5=4)r3c6173-(4=5)r1c2; r1c4<>5
coloring (4); r1c4<>4
coloring (4); lots of deletions

1 x XY-Wing
1 x Unique Rectangles and Loops
1 x Comprehensive Naked Sets
3 x Intersection Removal
1 x Simple Hidden Sets
2 x Simple Naked Sets
20 x Pinned Squares
Seems more complicated.
