I don't know where I went wrong, but this came out with
basics for me- did anyone else get the same? (I did notice
a type 1 UR on the way that wasn't needed......) |

On the other hand, having tried it again- it may just be
that I used that most advanced of all
techniques- misreading and accidentally putting in
a right number! |

I guess I'm dense; I still don't see Clement's xy-wing. My logic was that r5c5 can't be 1, if it is then r6c4 becomes the only possible 8 in r6 and the only possible 3 in c4. Is this a named pattern? |
