I started with an M-Wing on 47 in boxes 78 and then could find nothing, so I had to resort to Medusa, which I don't find satisfying. But, Medusa traps did the job.

Sudoku etiquette: "Nice find, Keith!"

I will be in England next week. A country whose primary redeeming features are this discussion list and the quality of the Sudoku puzzles in their generally free daily newspapers.

Bon voyage.

.. and better crosswords - in fact, better newspapers, better TV .. then there's the beer, proper cheese, real meat, the best seafood (OK, your clams win..), scottish salmon ..

.. cue Land of Hope and Glory ...

.. and our institutions - British legal system, a constitution that doesn't take 2 years to work out it's next leader, a monarch as head of state unsullied by electoral mandate, armed forces that punch above their weight, arguably the best University in the world ...

OK, so unlike the US we have sadly allowed an underclass of people to develop who feel they are entitled to state support, and the media have an unhealthy suspicion of wealth creation...

Rant over - enjoy your trip.

Sadly you will find that the free newspapers no longer have VH Sudokus - the Metro is solvable with locked sets, the London Paper died, very occasionally you need an X-wing in the Standard...
