I have seen the name "Empty Rectangle".
This can eliminated 4 or 7 from cell r5c3.
But with your solution the puzzle is completed easier!

"7s" were the key to solving this puzzle in a standard manner. After doing so, I looked for some fun, long solutions. Here are two that use some of the same logic as already posted......

axy-wing(57-2)r3c1+r2c3/r3c7=(4)r2c3-(4=7)r1c3-(7=5)r3c1-(5=79)r64c1-(7=24)r5c32-(4)r5c78=r46c9-(4=7)r1c9-(7=2)r3c7; r2c7,r3c23<>2

almost SdC(24578)r123c3
ab=(24)r5c3
cd(57)r3c1
e=(8)r3c3
fin (7)r5c3
almost SdC(24578)r123c3=(7)r5c3-r5c78=r46c9-r1c9=r1c3 => conflict; r5c3<>7
Thus SdC is true; r6c3<>4, r3c2,r6c3<>8

Thanks Ted.
Two wild rides. Very Happy

I've never heard of a Box Kite, but the Sashimi X-Wing in r15 sets r46c9<>7.

Just for the sake of discussion, what's the difference between a Kite and Box Kite since all Kites emanate from a box? Box Kite seems to be a redundancy. Maybe a more appropriate name would be Grouped Kite. But whatever it's called, it's very nice and not something I would've spotted.

I don't know -- it just came to me, I remember fllying box kites as a kid. Don't see them anymore. Call it a boy remembering== nothing more.

It is a grouped discontinous loop to many.
