Nice. I love to play Sashimis. I'd like to think I'd have seen it if I'd gotten that far. I check rows before columns and once I saw the Skyscraper with transport solved it, that's where I stopped. |

That was a great find. Another example of working a pattern to maximize results.
Here is another single step solution for 3s.
almost xy-wing(3) or Kraken finned x-wing(3)
[(3)r4c1-r4c46=r6c4-r3c4=r3c2 => -3r7c2] = [x-wing(3)r27c19 => -3r7c2] => -3r7c2

Dan,
If I am looking for a particular pattern and spot something, I normally post the step as a variation of the basic pattern even if another pattern name may be more common. Thus, if I had been looking for skyscrapers and spotted your pattern, I would post it as a finned skyscraper not a sashimi x-wing.
The bottom line to me is not the name but that the description is sufficient to follow the logic flow.
