Hi Clement,
Your solution is good; one of several variations possible on 5s.
Your posting is complete and clear. An alternate method of presenting your solution is a single statement. One possibility would be to start with your second statement and walk it backwards and ending with your first statement.
Chain 5: r1c13=r1c7-r4c7=r4c6-r79c6=r9c4-r9c13=r7c1 => -5r3c1
This Eureka notation starts by stating either r1c13=5 or r1c7=5, and then proceeds to specify a logic path given r1c7=5. Note that the first and last statements act like pincers on 5; either r1c13=5 or r7c1=5.

I used some information from Sudopedia, but that site seems to have been "trashed" and all information lost. Mostly I learned by reviewing posts by others. The notation is rather easy to follow for xy-chains and other simple logic. I suggest that you search the web for both "sudoku eureka notation" and "sudoku AIC notation".
The Eureka notation is not a frozen standard and is still evolving specifically in handling complex components like AURs, basic patterns and ALSs.
The two rules to remember are
1) start and end with a strong link
2) alternate strong link => weak link => strong link, etc.
I will attempt to answer any specific questions. Others on this site with much greater knowledge will also help.

Not a problem. After Sudopedia first went offline and came back, I made a copy of the site. Now, the site is completely trashed.
