Hello,
Today's puzzle in region 1 there is a hidden triple; 78, 28, 27.
This allows me to drop the 8 in 278, resulting in a hidden single 8 in c1.
Resulting in an 8 in r7,c1.
however when i place the 8 there and click GRADE, it shows TOO HARD.
Thanks in advance,
Bernie |

Hi Bern B
The reason for your problem is that there isn't a hidden triple in Box 1.
But to solve this one you do need a hidden pair:
and you can find that in column 1. By the way, on your grid you can put in the lone 4 in
box 6 and the lone 5 in box 9.
In the end r7c1 comes out as a 2. Grading a puzzle which has an wrong
number entered shows up as 'too hard' -useful for checking if you suspect
that you've made a mistake (as I often do!).
