I am totally stuck. Draw/Play cannot solve it either. The last hint places a '9' in R6C6, and then does nothing afterwards. Any help? |

i only saw 7 "hidden singles"
(c9 7 and all the 9s)
but plenty of box-line interactions,
also a "naked" duo along the way
(and that's all you'll need) for hints,

mm01090 did you get the puzzle solved? I remember struggling with this one, too, but I did solve it. I did it again twice today to make sure I could re-create that success. Seems like there are so many candidates to begin with that it's hard to see what you have, what you don't, and what should come next. What Pat said about the hidden singles (a 7 and all 9s not given) will give you a great start. The rest is also just as Pat said, box and/or line interactions -- other hidden singles along the way, naked pairs, pointing pairs, etc. Good luck! |
