For me, this is the first VH stumper in many a blue moon. Hidden doubles have always done me in. In general, this was troublesome right to the very end. Congrats to the puzzle maker and to you hughwill for a great solution. |

I don't know if some players actually look for hidden pairs, triples, etc. but I know I'd never find them. However, the hidden subsets have complementary naked subsets which I look for and are much easier to find. For example, the hidden pair 46 was found by my spotting the naked quad 2379 in c2. |
