Using basic tools, all I found was a 358 xy-wing rsc2 pivot setting r6c1<>8 and r5c6<>8. Lots of pairs to check. |

Interesting puzzle in that the only elimination (other than sweeping) is this XY, and then only for the 8 in R6C1. (There is an X-wing on 5 in C25 but it leads nowhere.) All other values are set because only possible choices in rows, columns, boxes and squares. I think that if this puzzle did not have the XY, then it would be rated as Easy. |

rmireland expressed my sentiments so I looked for any other way to solve this puzzle. I did come up with a nice loop which dodges around the xy wing. I hope I didn't make any mistakes.
r6c1=9=r6c4-9-r8c4-5-r7c5=5=r7c2-5-r6c2-3-r5c3-8-r6c1
therefore r6c1<>8
same elimination as with the xy wing but a lot more work |

A skyscraper on 8 sets r5c3 to 3 and r9c1 to 5 solving the puzzle. |
