Here's the grid I had after basics.
Code: |
+--------------+------------+--------------+
| 48 25 6 | 58 1 3 | 7 9 24 |
| 48 7 35 | 2 9 58 | 34 1 6 |
| 9 12 13 | 6 7 4 | 23 8 5 |
+--------------+------------+--------------+
| 2 158 9 | 37 358 16 | 156 4 17 |
| 3 1458 1457 | 47 458 126 | 1256 267 9 |
| 17 6 45 | 9 45 12 | 8 27 3 |
+--------------+------------+--------------+
| 5 14 147 | 13 23 9 | 126 267 8 |
| 6 3 8 | 14 24 7 | 9 5 12 |
| 17 9 2 | 58 6 58 | 14 3 147 |
+--------------+------------+--------------+
|
And from here, Earl's 12-4 XY with pivot at r8c9 solves it (r2c7<>4) and so does the 147 XYZ with pivot at r9c9 (r8c9<>1). The 17-2 XY with pivot at r4c9 does not and neither does the 27-1 XY with pivot at r6c8. Any others that I missed? |
