I thought I might mention, I do a lot of puzzles from inexpensive books I find at the local "dollar" stores.

There is one series I will gladly recommend, by Papp publishing in Canada. To see what the books look like, do a Google search on:

Papp Pocket Size Sudoku

The books are distinguished in that the Volume number is printed on a picture of a pencil on the cover. There are 106 puzzles in each book. I buy them at Dollar Tree in the USA for, yes, $1.

The puzzles are very interesting, I can't explain what holds my attention. None of them need "advanced" moves, I make them more difficult by not using pencil marks.

I have tried about six other publication series of Sudoku puzzles, and these are by far the best. Generally I skip the first half of the book and rip out the puzzles I have completed. The uncompleted remaining puzzles go to the "free" table at the local senior center, where someone will pick them up within just a few minutes.
