After basics eliminate the 6 in r9c4 because then r7c5 = 4 and r6c4 = 4 so no 4's in box 2
Then gets you to
Code: |
+---------+------------+-----------+
| 28 34 5 | 6 79 1 | 37 48 29 |
| 28 34 6 | 48 5 79 | 37 1 29 |
| 1 9 7 | 2 48 3 | 6 5 48 |

| 79 6 4 | 58 789 579 | 1 2 3 |
| 5 1 2 | 3 478 6 | 9 48 478 |
| 79 8 3 | 1 2 479 | 5 6 47 |
+---------+------------+-----------+
| 4 7 1 | 9 6 8 | 2 3 5 |

Note that you can remove the 8 from r5c5 of Tom's initial grid due to the locked candidates in box 6. (Warning: The following solution is not pretty!)
4r3c9 - [(4=7*)r6c9 -r3c5] = 4*r2c4 - (4=1*)r6c4 - (1=6)r1c4 - (4*6=5)r9c4 - (5=4)r9c6 - (1*47*=9)r6c6 - (7*9=4)r6c1 - r4c3 = r9c3 contradiction (i.e. 4r9c36) => r3c9 <> 4; stte. |

Heh heh, lots of stuff in this one. Even spotted a pair of Jellyfish, one finned and one regular. Can be bypassed of course.
