Draw program suggests 2 in R1C7 but I can't figure out the logic behind it. I find some pairs and triplets but they don't do me any good. Neither do the XWings (e.g., 8 at R4C2&7 and R6C2&7). Can anyone see what I'm missing?

Hi, Pete!

The hint relies on "line/box interaction".

The "3" in the lower right 3x3 box must lie in column 7. Therefore there cannot be a "3" at r1c7, leaving "2" as the sole candidate. dcb

It's amazing how clear the solution is once the clue is pointed out. I must've stared at it for an hour and not seen it. My excuse: On pen & paper version with corrections it wasn't quite as obvious Smile
