I've just discovered these squigglies and love the concept but am having a lot of trouble.

This medium one of Oct 1 has got me completely bamboozled.

I tried the hints to see if it would help me see something I hadn't already. The fifth or sixth hint puts a "3" in row 5 column 9. I don't see how this can b e known for sure. It seems to me that a 3 could also go in row 7 column 9.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It’s good to hear from you, mcpinroc.

I think you will find that the cells in box 7 which can take a 3 all lie in the seventh row.
