I am currently stuck on the abovementioned puzzle.
So far I have the following:

I am unsure as to the next move. Can someone please help!!??

Hi there,
Your next move is to consider Row 2. There is a pair of 3,7 in r2c4 and r2c5. Therefore, you can eliminate all other 3s and 7s in Row 2.
Then you can look at Column 8. There is a pair of 1,4 in r2c8 and r5c8. Therefore you can eliminate all other 1s and 4s in Column 8.
The puzzle should be easily solved from there.

Why can't a 1 go in r1c7, r1c8 or r1c9?
How did you manage to work out that a 1,4 HAS to go in r2c8 or r5c8 only?

Well, at this stage you're right - a 1 CAN go in r1c7, r1c8 or r1c9. You haven't yet worked through the puzzle based on the hints I gave you, so you're a bit ahead of yourself at the moment!
I'll run through a few more steps for you after the hints I've already given you.
We established that for Row 2, the pair of 3,7 are in r2c4 and r2c5. Therefore, all other 3s and 7s can be eliminated in Row 2. Now, look at cell r2c8. At the moment it can contain Nrs 1,3,4,7. Because we can eliminate Nrs 3 and 7, we are left with 1 and 4 as the only possibilities in this cell. Also, let's look at cell r5c8. This also can only contain the Nrs 1 and 4. Therefore we can eliminate all other 1s and 4s in Column 8.
This then means we can place the Nr 6 in r4c8 and then the Nr 7 in r7c8
and the Nr 1 in r7c4 and then the Nr 9 in r4c4.
You should be right from there.
