I agree - you only do sudoku for the reward of working it out yourself.

I expect you've missed the point, (I expect) he's programmed a sudoku solver as a project rather than solely as a way of completing a sudoku puzzle without any help. I'd imagine if he's clever enough to write a spreadsheet like this then solving a sudoku manually isn't going to be very hard to him!

Thank you for your applause!

It has always been interesting to me to learn how things work, accept it or do it your own way (programmers call it "algorithms"). What you perceive natural may be strange to someone else. I believe this is the way all revolutionary ideas emerge (my favourite e=mc2).

More then having a fish I'm interested in learning how to catch a fish.
You can be the best angler but you have no chance to win when fisherman arrive.
Technology is just emboded human spirit.
