Today's Medium puzzle had very few givens and took a lot of work - no "higher skills" just a lot of lower level cleaning up.

What is the least number of givens that can be solved at Medium level? Seems that today's puzzle went close to the record.

I can't answer your question, but I do sometimes find Medium puzzles to be "tedious" and to take considerably longer to do than many a Very Hard one - and this last one was a good example!
