almost thought this one could be solved with just basic moves.
Just before the end - therefore very easy actually - two ways to go:xy wing or UR.
Both sove the puzzle immediately.
Only few cells left - can't miss the UR, xy wing a little harder to see.
not very hard IMHO. |

Yes, fairly easy today. I didn't see any other options other than the Ur and xy wing either. |

There was a W-wing that solved it too. |

Like nataraj mentioned, not so VH, the UR was very obvious to spot. |

OK... for the UR-challenged, which cells contain the UR? |

To avoid the deadly [45] pattern in R68C45, R6C5 must be <6>. |

I did find a naked 4 in Box 9 - which I thought was kind of rare. Then it was just the UR on 45s already mentioned. Didn't see the need for the xy wing. |

| 8 #16 367 | 2 9 17 | 4 -1 36 5 |
| 9 -1 56 #36 | *45 *456 8 | 7 2 #13 |
+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+
| 3 2 5 | 7 1 9 | 6 4 8 |
| 6 8 9 | *45 *45 2 | 13 13 7 |

In your posted grid, 1s in r6c2 and r6c9 connect the 16 pairs. |

... and the '17's in c6 connect them, too.
seems all I was looking at were the '13' pairs
clearly I must have had a very bad day yesterday.
Thanks, Marty! |
