Nice puzzle. Took me a while to spot the hidden singles and the box/line interactions. After basics: Two xy-wings sharing the same pivot over on the right side. After that, another xy-wing (pivot r3c1) on the left side.

P.S.:
Dec 5 is Krampus day in Austria.
Krampus is the companion of Nikolo (St. Nicholas) on Dec 5 (Krampus Day) or Dec 6 (St.Nicholas Day). Nikolo rewards the good kids but Krampus is always near to frighten them. Krampus has black fur and red horns. He carries a big bucket on his back to take away bad kids. He also carries a birch and chains in his hands and threatens to whip everybody.
What a guy.

Despite all the tips given by the nice people here, I still didn't spot any ERs, though I suspect that they are in there. Just two xy-wings did it for me (on 139 and 234) and then it broke.
A nice one, actually!

After the [34-13-14] xy- wing with pivot in R4C9, you can find an ER for
digit <4> in Box 9. The hinge is __| shaped. |

Thanks, Johan - I'll see if I can get back to that stage and see how it works!
I'd meant to make a copy of the puzzle at the point when advanced techniques became necessary so that I could investigate ERs in more detail, but in the thrill of the chase I just forgot!

From nataraj's grid, there is another ER in Box 3, the strong link is in R7. |

| There's a W-Wing on 45 in boxes 3 and 9 which makes some eliminations, maybe finishes the puzzle, not sure though. |

I find the easy way to get a clean copy of crunch point is to go to draw/play and hit the hint button many times. with the ofdd fix all to make everything black, slowing down as you get to your remembered crunch point. Usually it is pretty easy to spot it.

"theory" (maybe flawed) suggested an ER in 4 but I couldn't see how it works. However obviously highly related logic says the 4 in r1c9 forces a 4 iin r9c7 which is bad news for col2 (no place for a 4) hence r1c9 is 3.
Post Script - I think I see it now the er in 4s is in Box9 and the strong link in col2 so take the other one (in box 3 col9) if 4 then the strong link in col2 creates a 4 that denies room for a 4 in box9 so eliminate the 4 .... to solution!

I used the same skyscraper to also remove <5> from R9C2 - but with this and the one above, I was still unable to complete without more clever stuff. |

I failed to mention that after the skyscraper (5's) there is an xy-wing pivoted at R8C1 which eliminates the 4 from R1C2. The skyscaper was the Eureka for me.

As often, various routes. After the xy-wing noted by Johan, I used a different skyscraper of 4's in c2 and c9 to remove the 4 in r9c7, and then it was clear sailing. (See the posted grids, esp that by George Woods.)
