I am from China, and very like to play sudoku.
The following is a puzzle that I can not solve,

In box 3, you need to remove the 3 from column 8. In box 9, you need to remove the 8s from column 8. In box 8, because of the 89 pair, you can remove the 89s from row 8 in box 8. In box 5, the 2s and 7s may be removed from columns 5 and 6. You might check around and see if there are more similar moves. I didn't check everything. After you make the eliminations, there may be some moves that are apparent.

Based on your method, I have got the following rusult, I checked it carefully, but still I can not get answer. Whether there are some advanced methods I don't know?
I use the “Draw/play” tool to caculate this puzzle, it can solve it. But no detailed calculation step provided.
So, could you help me?

In row 5, the only possibilities for 9 are in box 5. Therefore, in box 5, you may remove the 9s from rows 4 and 6. That should allow you to make some progress. Good luck. |
