An Empty Rectangle in Box 6 for digit <7>, takes out <7> in R1C7 was the final step for me. The eri can see one of the strong link* on <7> in C3
Code: |
+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+
| 248 2478 *27 | 9 3 6 |-[7]8 1 5 |
| 9 78 3 | 1 28 5 | 4 278 6 |
| 6 5 1 | 7 4 28 | 9 28 3 |
+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+
| 124 247 5 | 48 6 9 | 78 er 3 er 124 |
| 14 6 8 | 2 7 3 | 5 er 9 er 14 |
| 3 9 *27 | 48 5 1 | 6 eri 78 24 |
+--------------------------+--------------------------+--------------------------+
| 7 3 6 | 5 28 28 | 1 4 9 |
| 5 1 4 | 3 9 7 | 2 6 8 |
| 28 28 9 | 6 1 4 | 3 5 7 |

UR type 2b {1,4} in r45c19 takes out 2 in r4c2
then xy-wing pincers in r1c3 and r9c2 28-78-27 takes out 7 in r1c2
of course the skyscraper is there to avoid all those steps. |

Just another approach--I used the Type 1 UR on 28, then a W-Wing on 78, followed by pincer coloring on that same W-Wing. |
