				| After coloring a few times, I needed a long xy-chain to eliminate the 9 in R2C8, which solved the puzzle. Anyone do it without a chain?

				| Earl,
The hint is in the title. It is a lot of (XY, XYZ) wings.

That was too subtle for me. The sledgehammer approach works better.

I used a W-Wing, an XY-Wing and then an XY-Wing with pincer coloring blew it wide open.

				| After the basics:
  	  | Code: | | +-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+ | 8     7     4     | 1     9     6     | 2     3     5     |
 | 69    1     2     | 5     3     7     | 46    49    8     |
 | 369   5     36    | 4     8     2     | 67    1     679   |
 +-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
 | 67    8     9     | 3     467   1     | 5     247   2467  |
 | 4     2     367   | 9     67    5     | 367   8     1     |
 | 5     36    1     | 2     467   8     | 9     47    3467  |
 +-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
 | 37    34    5     | 8     2     9     | 1     6     347   |
 | 1     3469  367   | 67    5     34    | 8     2479  23479 |
 | 2     3469  8     | 67    1     34    | 347   5     3479  |
 +-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
 |
A beautiful XY-wing <367> takes out <3> in R789C2. Leading, after some work to another nice one:

  	  | Code: | | +-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+ | 8     7     4     | 1     9     6     | 2     3     5     |
 | 69    1     2     | 5     3     7     | 46    49    8     |
 | 369   5     36    | 4     8     2     | 67    1     79    |
 +-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
 | 67    8     9     | 3     467   1     | 5     247   2467  |
 | 4     2     67    | 9     67    5     | 3     8     1     |
 | 5     3     1     | 2     467   8     | 9     47    467   |
 +-------------------+-------------------+-------------------+
 | 37    4     5     | 8     2     9     | 1     6     37    |
 | 1     69    37    | 67    5     34    | 8     2479  23479 |
 | 2     69    8     | 67    1     34    | 47    5     3479  |
 |
 <479> takes out <7> in R46C9.

 And, <347> takes out <3> in R9C9.

Finally, an XYZ <479> takes out <7> from R78C9.

The puzzle is done! Very good wings, I thought.

				| In the initial grid there is a Kite (pivot b4) that removes <3> from r8c9 and makes the final XYZ Wing in Keith's path unnecessary. [Edit to correct typo]
