Not an ideal puzzle for sticklers: I found a fair amount of scribbling round the edges helpful.
In the top left-hand box, column 1 is occupied by (12) so column 3 contains (469).
In the bottom right-hand box, column 9 contains (16).
Bearing this in mind, the only cells in row 5 which can admit 4 or 6 are in columns 1 and 8. As the 9 in that row is excluded from these two columns, it is forced into cell (5, 9). The rest is straightforward.
