Mindgames Sudoku v2.6 will not only create and solve puzzles but interactively give you progressive hints for solving a particular puzzle.

Written in VB6, it does not require the .NET Framework, and most computers come with the VB6 runtimes.

With 20,000 puzzles already included, new puzzles of varying difficulty can be created, saved in a puzzle archive format, and printed out in a variety of formats.
