If you're looking for a hint:
Where are the 3's in C8? This should allow you to place a 5 in R, and one in R1.

|
|
At this point in the puzzle you can identify a "hidden pair" {1, 2} in r1c3 & r1c9. There are two ways to locate it.
-- Since the values "1" and "2" are already entered in the top center 3x3 box, and also in column 4, it is evident that the pair {1, 2} must lie in r1c3 & r1c9 -- there's no other way to fit those two values into the top row.
-- Alternatively, if you're looking at candidate lists for the unresolved cells, you can find the triplet {6, 7, 9} in r1c5, r1c6, & r1c7, implying that the other two values -- "1" and "2" -- must lie in r1c3 & r1c9.
The only possibilities at r5c3 are {1, 2} -- this pairs up with the {1, 2} in r1c3, making a naked pair in column 3 and implying that r9c3 = 8 (and then r8c3 = 6 ...). dcb |
