I'm working on the puzzle from 4/27. I just have a question about X-wings in general. If I have Xwing corners made up of 6s for example, do I eliminate all of the 6s in between or do I just eliminate if they're in the same column? The same goes for 9s. I won't put up the whole board but just a little demo:
69 8 15 2 4 69
3 69 49 1 68 2
469 5 3 468 1 69

I guess if you look at it from the other direction not top to bottom but side to side or if you turned the paper, they'd be top to bottom...or would you eliminate any/all 9s or 6s from the rows and columns? Thanks for clarifying! (like if there was a 49 way before the # 469 on row 3).

If you have an X-Wing where the two occurrences of the number are in two rows and the same two columns, then you eliminate the other occurrences in the two columns.

If you have an X-Wing where the two occurrences are in two columns and the same two rows, then you eliminate the other occurrences in the two rows.

This is an example of the first paragraph where the extra 6 in the column is eliminated.

Code:
