One more try at getting the grid right.
Not perfect, but much better.
Maybe enough to find some help.
Sorry.

Earl,
You will find that most of the six-star puzzles are posted here as "DB Saturday puzzle".
You should spend some time in the "Test" section - post messages and see how they turn out. Also, if you give us the date of the puzzle, ...

Recovering a lost puzzle is just as much fun as solving one
This is your grid in a better format:
Code: | +-------------+-------------+-------------+
| . . . | 27 . . | . . 27 |
| 23 . . | 479 19 179 | 247 67 346 |
| 23 . . | 48 . 28 | . . 34 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 79 . 47 | . . 179 | . . 14 |
| . . 34 | 578 68 75 | 34 67 . |
| 789 . 378 | 79 16 . | 37 . 16 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| . . . | . . . | . . . |
| . . 78 | 258 89 59 | . . 27 |
| 78 . . | . . 28 | 27 . . |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+ |
From the available candidates, I could recover most of the placements, except these:
Code: | +-------------+-------------+-------------+
| . 19 19 | . . . | 58 58 . |
| . . . | . . . | . . . |
| . . . | . . . | . . . |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| . . . | . . . | 58 58 . |
| . . . | . . . | . . . |
| . . . | . . . | . . . |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| . 49 . | . . . | . 49 . |
| . 34 . | . . . | . 34 . |
| . 139 19 | . . . | . 39 . |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+ |
Any choice is OK, because it does not affect the remaining puzzle, so here is my reconstruction of the PM grid:
Code: | +-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 4 1 9 | 27 3 6 | 5 8 27 |
| 23 8 5 | 479 19 179 | 247 67 346 |
| 23 7 6 | 48 5 28 | 9 1 34 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 79 6 47 | 3 2 17-9| 8 5 14 |
| 1 2 34 | 578 68 &75 | 34 67 9 |
| 789 5 378 |#79 16 4 | 37 2 16 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 5 4 2 | 1 7 3 | 6 9 8 |
| 6 3 78 | 258 89 #59 | 1 4 27 |
| 78 9 1 | 6 4 28 | 27 3 5 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+ |
There is an XY-Wing in r6c4-r5c6-r8c6 eliminating 9 from r4c6.
After a few singles and a hidden pair, the following XYZ-Wing solves the puzzle:
Code: | +-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 4 1 9 | 27 3 6 | 5 8 #27 |
| 23 8 5 |#47 19 19 |&247 6-7 346 |
| 23 7 6 | 48 5 28 | 9 1 34 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 9 6 47 | 3 2 17 | 8 5 14 |
| 1 2 34 | 58 68 75 | 34 67 9 |
| 78 5 378 | 9 16 4 | 37 2 16 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+
| 5 4 2 | 1 7 3 | 6 9 8 |
| 6 3 78 | 258 89 59 | 1 4 27 |
| 78 9 1 | 6 4 28 | 27 3 5 |
+-------------+-------------+-------------+ |
