Start with Nov 11, 2007 VH, get to
Code: |
52- -91 3-6
9-4 -6- --2
--- 2-- 9-8
-87 --- --9
1-- 9-7 8-5
359 --- -27
--- --4 -83
--- -89 6-1
8-5 3-- -94
|
The draw/play tool grades this as VH. Set R5C8 to 3 (which is correct), draw/play tool grades as Too Hard, which is incorrect. If solve is selected a few additional squares are filled, then solve gives up.
Starting with the above position, setting R5C8 to 3, then selecting solve (without first pressing grade) gives a solution.
Possible bug in the draw/play tool? |

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum.
I can't answer your question and I've never used either "Grade" or "Solve."
But I couldn't replicate your situation. If I clicked "Solve" without entering the 3 in r5c8 it would complete the puzzle. However, if I entered the 3 I got the grading of "Too hard", but it wouldn't solve regardless of whether I clicked "Grade" or not after entering the 3.
Maybe someone has an answer. Sam (the site owner) hasn't posted in quite awhile. |
